Vienna 180 set the tone early and never let McLean Post 270 back in it, rolling to a 12-2 win Tuesday at Oakton High School. Will Donohue doubled to left field in the first inning, and Tyler Ashcraft also drove in a run as Vienna got on the board early. Vienna kept stacking hits from there to put the game out of reach.

The visitors added two more runs in the second on RBI singles by Isaac Norman and Noah Ramirez. Vienna kept the pressure on in the third as Rowan Moore doubled, Norman added another double and Donohue followed with a single to help extend the lead.

Norman finished with four hits in five at-bats and drove in two runs, while Moore, Donohue and Norman each finished with two RBIs. Dawson Givens added three hits for Vienna, which piled up 19 hits as a team. Ben Grimsley started on the mound and worked two innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out one and walking two.

McLean got its RBI from Harrison Bohannon, while Calvin Dougherty and Quinn Connell each had a hit. The home team drew nine walks, with Chase Nash and Nikhil Antil each taking three, and Jack Kolsky stole two bases. Nash started and went four innings, allowing 12 hits and eight runs, seven earned, with no strikeouts and one walk.
