Open to players from Edison High School, Hayfield High School, Mount Vernon High School who meet American Legion age eligibility (graduating classes within the ALB window).

2026 is our 3rd year in District 17 and our 1st year being sponsored by Lorton Post 162. Our team is comprised of players from Hayfield Secondary, Edison and Mount Vernon High Schools. Several of our current and past players are either playing in college or committed to play. We are hoping to advance to the State Tournament for the 3rd time in as many years.

We recruit players who live in the attendance zones for Edison High School, Hayfield High School, Mount Vernon High School. Contact the coach to confirm eligibility.

Lorton Post 162 (formerly Kingstowne D17) competes in District 17 American Legion Baseball — a full 9-inning summer league serving Northern Virginia drawing players from Edison High School, Hayfield High School, Mount Vernon High School. Most teams play 20+ games from June through July, with qualifying teams advancing to state tournament play.

American Legion Baseball gives players structured summer reps, local accountability, and a team environment that can support a broader college-prep baseball path without promising recruiting outcomes.
